Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 is scheduled to start from March 22 and the tournament's opener clash will be played between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Rohit Sharma who guided India to ICC Champions Trophy 2025 triumph has joined his IPL franchise MI after spending quality time with family in Maldives. Mumbai Indians (MI) took their 'X' formerly known as Twitter to share a clip where Rohit Sharma can be seen batting in nets. MI highlighted 'SAR' written on Rohit's batting gloves and asked fans to decode that. Some fans speculated that SAR means Samaira, Ahaan and Ritika. Here is the video.
Mumbai Indians (MI) is one of the most successful franchise in the history of the tournament. They won the five IPL titles which is joint most by any team. However, the franchise faced a lot of criticism after they announced Hardik Pandya as their new captain replacing Rohit Sharma.
