Jaiswal finishes as RR's top run-getter in IPL 2025
Jaiswal was RR's joint-most expensive retention at Rs 18 crore. After a rocky start, he regained form and finished as RR's highest run-scorer of the season. The southpaw scored 559 runs from 14 innings at an average of 43, including six half-centuries. He scored at an impressive strike rate of 159.71.
Jaiswal's next challenge
Now, Jaiswal will head to England as part of India A squad to prepare for a five-Test series against Ben Stokes-led side. The red-ball series against England Lions will begin on May 30. He will be playing under the captaincy of Abhimanyu Easwaran. RR teammates Dhruv Jurel and Tushar Deshpande will join him on the tour as well.
Jaiswal's record vs England
The 23-year-old is yet to play an international match on England soil. However, he has a fabulous record against England at home. From five Tests, he has scored 712 runs at an average of 89 against the English. He has two centuries including an unbeaten 214 and three fifties against England as well.
