Suryakumar Yadav posts special message.

As India's T20I captain shared a special Instagram story for Sarfaraz upon reaching his double hundred in the Irani Cup match, Suryakumar Yadav demonstrated his continuous support for the Khan brothers. He wrote the sweet caption, "100 Musheer ka 100 Sarfaraz ka," on the picture. The implication of the message might be that Sarfaraz's double hundred is a tribute to his brother Musheer Khan.

Thus, it is a century for Sarfaraz and Musheer combined, which equalled a double hundred. Musheer broke his neck in a car accident, hence he was unable to play in the Irani Cup. Sarfaraz Khan, Dhruv Jurel, and Yash Dayal were also cut from India's team to play Bangladesh.

Sarfaraz, who was not given much of an opportunity in the two Test matches against Bangladesh, made the most of Mumbai's Irani Cup match against the rest of India. After leading Mumbai to a total of 536/9 at stumps on Day 2, he remained unbeaten at 221 to become the first-ever Mumbai batter to score a double century in the Irani Cup. At the age of 26, Sarfaraz made history by becoming the fourth-youngest player to achieve a double century in the renowned competition.

Apart from reaching a double century, Sarfaraz's century added him to the esteemed club of players who have all scored two centuries in the Irani Cup: Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, Shikhar Dhawan, and Yashasvi Jaiswal. With this accomplishment, Sarfaraz solidifies his standing as one of the best players in Indian domestic cricket, having amassed more First-Class century (15) than half-centuries (14) in the game.

Musheer and Sarfaraz have always had the support of Suryakumar as they succeed with their domestic performances. Following a car collision on Saturday, September 28, on the outskirts of Lucknow, Musheer Khan is said to be in stable condition. On the Purvanchal Expressway, Musheer, the younger brother of Indian cricket player Sarafaraz Khan, and his father Naushad were traveling to Lucknow for an impending Irani Cup match when their car struck a divider and flipped. While his father only received minor injuries, Musheer suffered a fractured neck.
