The West End Park International Cricket Stadium in Doha, Qatar , is prepared for a 10-day long cricket extravaganza when the much-awaited 2023 edition of the Legends League Cricket (LLC) kicks off on Friday, March 10. The tournament with its three teams — the Indian Maharajas, the Asia Lions, and the World Giants — have brought in some of the best former stars of the game to battle the ultimate glory.
Former Indian opening batter Gautam Gambhir will captain the Indian team, while the Asia Lions will be captained by former Pakistan skipper Shahid Afridi. Along with Afridi, several other Pakistani players like Shoaib Akhtar, Misbah-ul-Haq, Mohammed Amir, Sohail Tanvir, and Abdul Razzaq are also playing in LLC in the 2023 season of the LLC. And with the weight of international cricket off his back, former Australian skipper Aaron Finch will lead the World Giants.

Format for the Legends League Cricket:
All teams will play in a round-robin format, i.e two matches against each other. The side that finishes at the top of the points table will directly qualify for the final. The second and third-placed teams will face off against each other in an eliminator fixture on March 18.
