In the Legends League Cricket (LLC) match between Bhilwara Kings and India Capitals, two star players engaged in an ugly spat on the pitch as the temperature went soaring. Kings' Yusuf Pathan and Capitals' Johnson indulged in an animated verbal altercation before the Aussie shoved the Indian all-rounder as they two came face-to-face.

 

In a video that has gone viral on social media, Yusuf can be seen furious at Johnson as he makes his way towards the bowler. The two players come in very close proximity to one another before the Aussie shoves Yusuf away. The incident occurred at the non-striker's end and the altercation only ended when one of the umpires stepped in between the two players and walked Johnson away from the Indian batter.

Meanwhile, in what turned out to be a nail-biting thriller at the Barkatullah Khan Stadium in Jodhpur, India Capitals defeated Bhilwara Kings by four wickets in a high-scoring thriller. Batting first, Kings posted a massive total of 226/5 in 20 overs with Shane Watson playing a blistering knock of 65 runs in 39 balls. Watson top-scored for his team while opening batter William Porterfield scored 59 runs in 37 balls. Yusuf Pathan chipped in with a cameo of 48 runs in 24 balls and smashed three fours and four sixes during his entertaining stay in the middle.

 

Chasing the target, the Capitals got off to a poor start as they lost their captain Gautam Gambhir (1 run off 2 balls) in the first over of the innings. Hamilton Masakadza (10 runs off 11 balls) and Dwayne Smith (24 runs off 14 balls) also departed soon after as the Capitals lost three wickets inside the powerplay.

 

Ross Taylor then played an absolute blinder to bring his team back into the contest. The Kiwi batter scored 84 runs in 39 balls with the help of nine fours and five sixes. Ahsley Nurse finished the game as he played an outrageous knock of 60 not out off 28 balls.
