 FOUR! Edgy, but deliberately played! Full and across off, Ajinkya Rahane opens the bat face at the point of contact, and guides it precisely between the first slip and short third for a boundary.

 FOUR! Off the edge. Hands on head for Arshdeep! Sharp inswing onto the pads. Finn Allen tries to flick the full toss but nutmegs himself and the ball shoots behind off the inside edge to deep fine leg for four lucky runs.

A low full toss, around off, Allen carves it out from the toe end, to the cover region, for a single. 12 runs from the first over.

Nearly found the edge! Begins with a beautiful outswing, full and outside off. Allen tries to crash it over the bowler's head, but gets beaten all ends up. Lovely bounce on this as well.

 Oh, absolute chaos out in the middle! Far outside off, full in length. Allen sees fine leg in the ring and shuffles across to lap it over the inner ring, but gets a bit of an edge. The ball lobs and lands in front of the charging keeper. Seeing Allen marginally out of the crease, Prabhsimran Singh collects the ball and fires at the stumps, only to cannon the throw straight to Xavier Bartlett. Comedy of errors in the middle.

 Swing and a miss! Banana swing on this one. Allen plants his front foot and goes expansively through the off side, but the ball shapes away late and beats the outside edge.

OUT! EDGED AND TAKEN! Bartlett gets the reward for his consistency in this over. Shaping away from the fourth stump, Allen stays leg side and throws his hands at it without moving his feet. The outside edge comes easy, and Prabhsimran gobbles it up behind the stumps. KKR are 12/1 as the dangerous Allen departs cheaply.

 FOUR! It's all edgy right now! Xavier Bartlett goes fuller and just around off. Cameron Green strides out and looks for the drive on the up. Gets a thick outside edge that flies past Vijaykumar Vyshak at short third for a boundary.

OUT! EDGED AND GONE! Xavier Bartlett with the double whammy and gets his Aussie counterpart this time. He lands this on a hard length and in that channel outside off, shaping it away again. Cameron Green steps across a bit and looks to push it away, but his feet go nowhere. He just goes through with his hands and gets a thin outside edge behind, where Prabhsimran Singh makes no mistake. Another failure for Cameron Green. Worst possible start for KKR, and their decision to bat first on a pitch with lively grass could be the talking point now.

 Beauty! Nips away from a fuller length, outside off. Angkrish Raghuvanshi feels for it but withdraws his bat inside the line to leave.

Touch full and shaping in a bit, on middle. Angkrish Raghuvanshi tucks it across to the square leg region for a single to get off the mark.

On top of off, on a length. Ajinkya Rahane dabs it in front of point for a run.

Much fuller, in the corridor of uncertainty, around off. Angkrish Raghuvanshi presses forward and opts to leave.

Back of a length, shaping in on leg, this is tucked to deep backward square leg for a single.

Nice and full, on off, Angkrish Raghuvanshi drives it crisply but straight back to the bowler.

Shapes away from middle, full at 131.4 kph, Angkrish Raghuvanshi presses forward and taps it to the bowler.

 Errors in plenty, bonus runs for KKR! 5 in total. Length on middle and off, Raghuvanshi eases it calmly to mid off and rushes across for a single. Shreyas fires a throw at the bowler's end, but misses, and the backing up is nowhere near good enough. Jansen slides to stop it, but only succeeds in parrying it past fine leg. Shashank Singh sprints after it but fails to stop the ball as it squirrels through the practice pitches and kisses the ropes. Four completely free runs, and KKR won't mind that. 

Fuller and on the pads, Rahane flicks it to mid-wicket.
