Pakistan Super League (PSL) never fails to entertain cricket fans and followers. However, things have not been pretty smooth for the Karachi Kings side, captained by star Pakistan cricket player Babar Azam.
Currently, the Karachi Kings side are in a very bad condition in the 7th season of PSL. The team captained by Babar Azam has played nine matches so far this season and out of these nine matches they have got only win and had to suffer defeat in eight matches.
Gayle returns
In a situation like this, West Indies all-rounder Chris Gayle has made a big announcement about the Karachi Kings team led by Babar Azam in the Pakistan Super League.
While talking about this development on Twitter, Gayle said that he “will be the new head coach next season” for the Karachi-based franchise
“Hey @thePSLt20 – I will be the new head coach next season for @KarachiKingsARY.T here’s no argument in this one! #UniverseBoss,” Chirs Gayle had wrote on Twitter.
Significantly, West Indies' stormy batsman Chris Gayle, known as the Universe Boss, is currently not participating in any T20 league. The southpaw did not even enlist his name for the mega IPL auction for this season and he is also not playing in the PSL.
Although he was seen playing in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) and his team Barishal had to face a defeat in the final match against Komilia and now he has made a big announcement regarding his coaching career.
