Pat Cummins mind hooked on series against India.

Australia suffered an embarrassing 9-wicket loss at the hands of Mohammad Rizwan-led Pakistan cricket team in the second ODI of the three-match series which was being played at the Adelaide Oval, on November 8 (Friday). Pat Cummins was disappointed with the loss and even acknowledged that they did not play well but his focus appeared to be more on the upcoming five-match Border-Gavaskar Trophy against India.

Pat Cummins after loss

"Wasn't one of our best days. They bowled well, but we should have done better and scored more than 160. There was a bit seam around there. We tried to attack (with some close-in fielders) but it wasn't to be. I will leave it to him (Inglis), he has some experience. So let him be him. We have a week at home. Good training sessions needed, mind now switches to the red ball (for the upcoming Test series vs India)," said Pat Cummins in the post-match presentation

Pakistan beat Australia by 9 wickets

In 35 overs, Pakistan bowled Australia out for a mere 163. Saim Ayub's incredible 82-run knock off 71 balls helped Pakistan easily chase down the mark in 26.3 overs, leading his team to a 9-wicket victory. The 22-year-old, who was playing in only his second ODI, faced the all-star bowling assault of Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc, and Josh Hazlewood with absolutely no hesitation.

Earlier, it was Haris Rauf who stole the show with the ball as he picked up a stunning five-wicket haul and ran through the Australian batting line-up. He got support from Shaheen Afridi who also picked three wickets. The third ODI will now be a decider and both teams will like to seal it with a win.
