Ahmed Shehzad slammed Pakistan team after their 7-wicket loss to South Africa in 2nd T20I

Pakistan failed to defend a big target of 207 runs

Pakistan's out-of-favour batter Ahmed Shehzad launched a scathing attack on Mohammad Rizwan brigade's disappointment seven-wicket loss to South Africa in the second T20I, which also cost them the series. With this Pakistan suffered their fifth consecutive T20I loss, following their 0-3 series loss to Australia last month.

Ahmed Shehzad's full-blown attack on Pakistan team

Shehzad mercilessly slammed Pakistan team management for failing to address long-standing issues within the team. Despite Saim Ayub's impressive 98-run knock, which helped Pakistan post a big total of 206/5, South Africa's Reeza Hendricks' blistering century (117 off 63 balls) powered them to a thrilling victory.

Shehzad said that he felt like South Africa A and Pakistan A sides were playing against each other.

“To be honest, it was a good game to watch as a spectator... but it felt like South Africa A and Pakistan A side were playing against each other with some players has the ability to fit in senior side from both the countries... If you know you know,” Shehzad wrote on his X handle.

“Just a reminder, 7 main players are absent from this South African side and we played with our full strength and we lost the series once again just like we lost against Australian kids in T20s few days ago. Pakistan cricket is dying everyday and everyone is sleeping from top to bottom. Shame,” his post further added.
