The two-time Olympic medallist and javelin standout Neeraj Chopra has married tennis player Himani Mor and started a new chapter. The wedding took place in a private ceremony in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh.
"Started a new chapter of life with my family. Grateful for every blessing that brought us to this moment together. Bound by love, happily ever after,” Neeraj wrote on social media while announcing his ceremony.
The wedding took place in a private setting in the presence of just 40-50 close guests and family. Known for avoiding the spotlight in his personal life, Neeraj shocked followers on January 19 by posting the first images from the dreamy ceremony on social media.

Neeraj and Himani personally selected the venue for their big day, making sure it mirrored their mutual appreciation of calm and beautiful surroundings.
The couple is currently on their honeymoon in the United States of America. The family will organise a grand reception for friends, family and other well-wishers once the newlyweds return to India
Himani Mor is a former tennis player from Sonipat, Haryana, played the sport while attending Delhi University's Miranda House for her academic education. She obtained an MBA in Sports and Fitness Administration from Franklin Pierce University after pursuing her studies in Sports Management at Southeastern Louisiana University. She is also a graduate assistant at Amherst College in Massachusetts and is currently working toward a Master of Science degree at the Isenberg School of Management.
According to Neeraj’s uncle, Bheem Chopra revealed that the ceremony was kept private as the couple wanted to keep those momenets and celebrations low-key.
