A right-arm fast bowler, Nathan Coulter-Nile is an exciting prospect in the ranks of Australian cricket who made his first-class debut for Western Australia in 2010. A former Under-19 player, Coulter-Nile spent a couple of seasons on a rookie contract, but was soon usurped as a full-time contracted player.

Also a handy lower order batsman, Coulter-Nile was signed by the Perth Scorchers for their inaugural edition of the Big Bash League in 2011-12 and was thereafter included in the T20 squad for the Champions League T20 as well. The speedster impressed in the second Big Bash season too. International call-ups made their way soon after, when he was added to Australia's ODI as well T20I squads for the West Indies series. He was bought by the Mumbai franchise for the sixth edition of the Indian T20 League in 2013. However, he was not retained for the following season and was grabbed by the Delhi franchise.
