India's oldest domestic cricket tournament, the Ranji Trophy, returns for its second leg after the culmination of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 season. This time around, the Ranji was divided into two parts. The league stage matches were played before IPL 2022, and now, the knockout phase of the tournament will kick off on June 6, while the final match will be played in Bangalore on June 22.

According to reports, there will be no mandatory quarantine for the teams, but bio-bubbles will be maintained. All teams will have to submit a negative RT-PCR report for each of their players. The quarter-finals will be played from June 4-8, followed by the semi-finals from June 14-18 and the final from June 22-26.

Many young Indian talents will be on show in the knockout phase of the premier tournament. Some of these players are Prithvi Shaw for Mumbai, Mohammed Shami for Bengal and Devdutt Padikkal, Manish Pandey, and Karun Nair for Karnataka. In addition to these people, fans will also have their eyes on Rinku Singh, who was a phenomenal middle-order batter for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the latter stages of the cash-rich IPL.

He will turn out for Uttar Pradesh in the knockout phase. It will also be interesting to see whether Wriddhiman Saha, who left Bengal before the knockout matches of the Ranji Trophy, is seen playing with any of the other teams.
