Harjot Singh struck with the new ball but Kartik and Aryan's 119-run partnership set the platform for a big score. The partnership was broken by Mandeep Singh in the 16th over. Aryan scored 53 runs from 38 balls including seven fours and a six. Kartik missed his century as he was dismissed by Abhishek in the 17th over. His 48-ball 83 was studded with five fours and six sixes. He helped JK Super Strikers post 180/4. Abhishek used as many as nine overs in the innings.
 

In the run chase, Abhishek lost his wicket to Sanvir Singh for a single-digit score. Mayank Lokesh Gupta and Mandeep departed after scoring four runs each. Sehaj Dhawan, Madhav Pathania contributed with cameos but it could not bring the run chase back on track. Agri King Knights posted 142/9 and lost the match by 38 runs.

Last-ball thriller

In the other encounter of the day, Intersoft Titans beat Royal Phantons by four wickets in a last-ball thriller. Ridham Chander Satyawan's 39-ball 47 helped Royal Phantoms post 157/9 on the board. In the run chase, Intersoft Titans lost early wickets to Sukhdeep Bajwa. The partnership between Gitansh Khera and Pukhraj Mann revived the run chase. 
 

Mann departed for a 31-ball 30 whereas Khera scored 59 runs from 43 balls including a couple of fours and three sixes. In the end, Harjas Singh-Tandon's five-ball 13 helped Intersoft Titans to get over the line on the last ball and win by four wickets.

Sher-e-Punjab points table update

This is Titans' second win of the tournament. They are still at the bottom of the points table. Super Strikers are at the top of the points table whereas Akri King Knights are in the fourth position.
