Legendary batter Virat Kohli's return to India's top domestic tournament, the Ranji Trophy after a span of 12 years feels no less than a movie. The stardom, the charisma, the aura, the atmosphere and the crowd everyone is singing the symphony of Kohli's greatness. It is a sight to see as fans have flocked in massive numbers at the Arun Jaitley Stadium just to have a glimpse of their favourite cricketer. A Ranji Trophy match between Delhi and Railways is giving the vibe of an International or an IPL game and the reason is none other than the home town hero and modern-day great Virat. 

Virat comes to bat

Fans were disappointed and frustrated because they could not see Virat bat on Day 1 of the match, and the wait continued for more than an hour on Day 2. However, despite this, they were firm on their seats and screens to watch him bat. After Rahul Sharma's delivery caught Yash Dhull on the pad, the Delhi supporters surprisingly became happy.

They were happy because it meant it was time for King Kohli to walk out. The moment Virat Kohli stepped out, the whole stadium echoed with the cheers of thousands of roaring fans. The video of Virat Kohli's entrance even went viral on social media quickly.

Virat gets out after scoring 6 runs

Railways' Himanshu Sangwan ended Virat's stay on the pitch after just 15 balls. The Indian star could only score 6 runs. He hit Sangwan for a boundary but got clean bowled on the very next ball. Virat's boundary off Sangwan did make everyone happy but that was it. Kohli could not score more than 6 runs and returned back to the dugout leaving himself and the attendance disappointed.

Now the responsibility has fallen on Delhi captain Ayush Badoni's shoulder to lead the team to a good score more than Railways 241 runs in the first innings. As for fans, they will have another chance to see Virat Kohli bat during the second innings and they will hoping that the former Indian captain will play a good knock to mark his much-awaited comeback to domestic cricket.
