Bangladesh beat Pakistan to seal ODI series

In pursuit of a competitive 291-run target, Pakistan’s batting lineup struggled to maintain momentum as they lost wickets at critical junctures. Despite a resilient effort that took the game to the very end, they were eventually bowled out for 279 on the final delivery of the 50th over. This narrow defeat saw the team fall just short of their objective, despite several players getting starts.

For his pivotal century earlier in the day, Tanzid Hasan Tamim was awarded Player of the Match honors. Earlier in the day, Tanzid Hasan set the foundation for the hosts with a superb century that powered Bangladesh to a total of 290-5. The innings got off to a confident start with an opening stand of over 100 runs between Tanzid and Saif Hassan (36). Tanzid maintained his aggression throughout the innings, reaching his sixth ODI half-century before putting on another 53 runs with Najmul Hossain Shanto. His impressive stay at the crease finally ended at 107 off 107 balls, an innings highlighted by six fours and seven sixes, after being dismissed by Abrar Ahmed.
