BCCI reveals India's schedule for home season - ODI, T20Is vs West Indies, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe to Border-Gavaskar Trophy

Story Highlights:

India's home season will begin by hosting West Indies for 3 ODIs and 5 T20Is.

India will host Zimbabwe for an ODI series for first time in 24 years.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on March 26 announced home schedule for India men’s team for the 2026-27 season. During this period, India will host four countries -- West Indies, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe and Australia. India will play a total of 22 matches across formats in 17 different cities.

The season will begin with India hosting West Indies for three ODIs and five T20Is, starting September 27. Starting December 13, India will play Sri Lanka in a three-ODI series followed by three T20Is. Then, Zimbabwe will tour India for a three-ODI series, first since 2022.

In January, Australia will arrive for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) 2027. It will also be India's last series of the current World Test Championship (WTC) 2025-27 cycle.
