Recognising the unique circumstances of introducing a 15-year-old to the high-pressure environment of international sports, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) made a highly praised, empathetic decision to support the youngster's transition. The board has officially permitted the prodigy's parents to accompany him on his maiden international assignments. As a result, his father, Sanjeev Sooryavanshi, and mother, Aarti Sooryavanshi, are expected to travel alongside him to Ireland and England, providing a crucial emotional anchor and familial support system as he takes his monumental first steps on the world stage.
“As he is a child, we have decided to allow his parents to accompany him to Ireland and England, so that they can be with him and help him settle in the new environment. The Board will cover all their expenses,” BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia told Sportstar.
