The Pakistan Super League has once again come into the spot-light, but only for wrong reasons as Multan Sultans' skipper Ashton Turner has publicly slammed the league for its bad scheduling on Monday, April 6.

PSL's weird scheduling

The Multan-based team has played five games in the competition, which no team has as only three teams have played four matches, while three have played only three. On the other hand, Peshawar Zalmi has played two games in the ongoing league.

Interestingly, the Sultans had to play on consecutive days, as the clash against the Piniz, they locked horns with the Quetta Gladiators on April 5, where they won by six wickets.

The Australian player has fared well in the competition by leading his side to four wins in five outings so far.

Ashton Turner slams PSL's scheduling despite win vs Pindiz

After winning the game winning the game against Pindiz on Monday, Turner expressed his disappointment with the league's scheduling and criticised the organisers.

At the post-game press conference, Turner said that he might find a blanket and a pillow to sleep on the ground because of a very short turnaround.

"Might go and find somewhere to get a blanket and a pillow and sleep here — very short turnaround," said Turner.

Later, Turner appreciated his team's effort and their ability to rapidly adapt to different conditions.

"Slightly different conditions than the last two games. We did well in all three facets, which is satisfying. I was probably going to bowl the first over, but we expected two left-handers at the top. Fair play to them — they changed that," added turner.
