India's Yashasvi Jaiswal and Kuldeep Yadav shone bright in the latest ICC Test rankings. Jaiswal has charged back into the top five of the standings, courtesy to his daddy hundred in the second Test against West Indies.

India's star opener, who smashed a match-winning 175 runs in the first innings, leaped two places to fifth, surpassing both Temba Bavuma and Kamindu Mendis, and now boasts a strong 791 rating points. Despite not having played a Test match since August, Joe Root remains firmly on top of the batting rankings with 908 rating points. Jaiswal ultimately finished as the leading run-scorer of the series against the West Indies, tallying 219 runs across three innings at an impressive average of 73. The series' second-highest run-scorer, KL Rahul, also saw a gain in the latest rankings, jumping two places to finish at 33rd after accumulating 196 runs in the recently concluded Test series.
Kuldeep rockets seven places up in the standings
Meanwhile, spin wizard Kuldeep has advanced seven places up in the standings following his robust performance in the Delhi Test against West Indies, where he secured eight wickets. He now sits at 14th place among the bowlers, marking a career-best rating of 689 points. Interestingly, despite losing three rating points, Jasprit Bumrah retains his position at the very top of the rankings in the longest format of the game with 882 points. He remains the only Indian bowler currently ranked in the top 10, with Mohammed Siraj following at 12th place.
In a massive rise for the West Indies, batter Shai Hope has advanced a staggering 34 places in the latest rankings after ending his eight-year century drought during the Delhi Test. He has jumped from 100th to the 66th position with 446 rating points. Additionally, his teammate John Campbell has also climbed six places to the 68th spot with 440 rating points.
Meanwhile, in the ODI batters' rankings, Afghanistan's Ibrahim Zadran has made an impressive leap, gaining eight places to secure the second position with 764 points. This significant ascent has subsequently caused movement among the top Indian and Pakistani batsmen.
The shift sees India's Rohit Sharma slip to third place with 756 points. He is immediately followed by Pakistan's Babar Azam in fourth position with 739 points, and fellow Indian veteran Virat Kohli who rounds out the top five with 736 points. In the ODI All-rounders' Rankings, Afghanistan's dominance continues as Azmatullah Omarzai has climbed one spot to claim the coveted number-one position, now holding 334 rating points. Not far behind is his teammate, Rashid Khan, who has also advanced on the list, moving up to the fourth position with 257 points.
