India's under-19 cricket team displayed brilliant batting against Japan in the second league match of the Asia Cup Under 19 Tournament 2024. After losing their last clash against arch-rivals Pakistan, the Boys in Blue made a great comeback scoring 339 runs for 6 wickets in 50 overs against Japan in the second league match.
India captain Mohamed Amaan played a memorable knock against Japan. He played an unbeaten 122-run knock, and with that, he became the first-ever Indian batter to smash a century against Japan in the Under-19 Asia Cup 2024 and in international cricket as well. Another Indian batter Ayush Mahatre and KP Karthikeya also scored half-centuries in this match against Japan.
After being asked to bat, India captain Amaan played an unbeaten 122-run knock. He smashed seven fours in 118 balls. On the other hand, Hardik Raj smashed 25 runs in 12 balls, including two sixes.
Earlier, Vaibhav played an innings of 23 runs Against Japan, 13-year-old Vaibhav could not play a big innings, but 23 runs came off his bat against Japan. He scored these runs including six and 3 fours while facing 23 balls.
