The Indian Physical Disability Cricket Team scripted history by clinching the PD Champions Trophy 2025 with a dominant win over England. In a thrilling final held at the FTZ Cricket Grounds, Team India thrashed England by a convincing margin of 79 runs. Batting first, India set a daunting total of 197/4 in their allotted 20 overs. This strong foundation was built upon a brilliant innings by Yogendra Bhadoria, who scored a spectacular 73 runs off just 40 balls, including four boundaries and five sixes, at a blistering strike rate of 182.50.
The Indian bowlers then delivered a disciplined performance, restricting England to a total of 118 runs. Radhika Prasad led the bowling attack, claiming four wickets for 19 runs in 3.2 overs. Captain Vikrant Keni also contributed significantly, claiming two wickets for 15 runs in three overs, while Ravindra Sante maintained pressure with figures of 2-24 in his four-over spell.
