India set a 202-run target for UAE women and halted them on 123/7 to win the match by 78 runs. Indian women's cricket team will now lock horns against Nepal in the last Group A match of the Women's T20 Asia Cup 2024 on Tuesday at Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium in Dambulla. This will be the 10th match of the tournament.
India has four points from two matches, while Nepal has garnered two in as many matches. Pakistan, which will also play UAE on the same date, holds a points tally similar to Nepal but with a superior net run rate. Therefore, Nepal needs to either secure a convincing win against India or hope for a substantial victory for UAE over Pakistan to advance to the semi-finals.
