Indian women’s captain Harmanpreet Kaur slammed a reporter in the joint-captain’s press conference ahead of the ninth edition of the Asia Cup 2024 on Friday. During the media interaction, Kaur was asked about the lack of support for women’s cricket among the press by a reporter. The Mumbai Indians skipper first could not understand the question but upon asking again found that the question made no sense. Sri Lanka’s captain Chamari Atapaththu and other captains too started laughing at the question. According to the reporter India’s tour of Bangladesh was a recent example of poor media coverage and he was interested to know the reason behind the same from the Indian captain.

What’s your opinion on this?” asked a reporter during the joint captains press conference. Harmanpreet started smiling after the question and gave a savage response. She said ”Well, that’s none of my business. You guys have to come and cover us."
