When the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced India's Test squad for the upcoming edit Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-2025 against Australia, scheduled to begin on November 22. Kuldeep Yadav, a left-arm wrist-spinner who last represented India in the opening Test match against New Zealand last month, is one prominent player left off the roster. The BCCI did clarify, meanwhile, that Kuldeep's absence was caused by an injury rather than a calculated move.

Kuldeep to go through injury

As per a report from Dainik Jagran, Kuldeep Yadav will be going through surgery for which he will be travelling to Germany. KL Rahul also went through surgery in Germany.
