Former Pakistan Captain Inzamam-ul-Haq has suffered a heart attack and has under gone angioplasty on Monday. The 51-year-old is now believed to be out of danger.
According to reports, the 1992 World Cup-winning member complained of chest pain since the last three days, but the initial medical reports failed to report anything about it. However, a test on Monday revealed that the former Pakistan batting consultant suffered a heart attack and underwent a surgery for the same.
Reports suggest that the former batter is stable now and under observation.
The Pakistan legend made his international debut in 1991 and was the part of the Imran Khan’s 1992 World Cup-winning squad. Haq went on to play 120 Tests and 378 ODIs for Pakistan, scoring 8830 and 11739 runs for Pakistan respectively.
Inzamam retired from international cricket in October 2007.
