When James Anderson was on England's tour of India with 699 wickets. At that time Kuldeep Yadav was out on Anderson's ball and he became Anderson's 700th victim. After that, the legendary speedster took four more wickets in the last Test match of his career. With this, he became the first fast bowler in the world to take the most wickets in his Test cricket career with 704 wickets in 188 matches.

James Anderson played 188 Test matches during his Test cricket career and became the second player to play the most Test matches in the world. Sachin Tendulkar tops the tally with 200 Test matches.

James Anderson is also the third batsman to score the most runs while batting at number-11 in his Test cricket career. He played an innings of 81 runs against India in 2014. Ahead of him are Tino Best with 95 runs and Ashton Agar with an innings of 98 runs.

James Anderson is the second bowler in the world to take the most 137 wickets by clean bowled in his Test career. Muttiah Muralitharan is ahead of him with 167 clean bowls.
