Anukul Roy has been added to India A's squad for tri-series in Sri Lanka next month.

Harsh Dubey has been released from the squad after maiden Test and ODI call-up.

Jharkhand’s spin-bowling all-rounder Anukul Roy has been added to India A’s squad for the tri-series on Sri Lanka soil featuring Afghanistan A. Roy has been roped in as replacement for left-arm spinner Harsh Dubey who has been named in India's Test and ODI squads for the home series against Afghanistan starting June 6.

The tri-series will begin on June 9 and end on June 21.

Roy is one of the key players in the current Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) lineup. From 12 games, he has bowled in 10 and taken eight wickets at an average of 29. His economy rate is 9.60 runs per over in the ongoing season. He has got six chances to bat and scored 43 runs at a strike rate of 138.70.

Roy's List A (One-Day) cricket numbers -

Part of the 2018 Under-19 World Cup-winning team under Prithvi Shaw, Roy has played 61 List A games so far. He has represented India A as well.
 
In One-Dayers, he has scored 1,279 runs at an average of 32.79, including eight half-centuries. His unbeaten 98 against Pondicherry in Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025-26. 

With the ball, the left-arm spinner has 59 wickets in the 50-over format at an average of 36.74, featuring four four-wicket hauls. His economy rate is 4.87 runs per over.
