With the England series starting on January 22, Rahul can make his return with the white-ball series against Three-Lions. However, he most likely won't be part of the T20I leg but can be a sure addition to the ODI team considering it is the last 50-over assignment for the Men in Blue before the much-awaited Champions Trophy.
Rahul was also part of the ODI squad that took on Sri Lanka in India's previous 50-over assignment. He will be eager to add some runs under his name before the mega tournament if gets selected in the squad.
