India’s left-arm chinaman bowler Kuldeep Yadav claimed a five-wicket haul in the ongoing second Test of the series against West Indies. On Day 3, Kuldeep claimed four wickets to complete his fifth five-wicket haul of Test career. He became the second left-arm wrist spinner in Test history to claim five-wicket hauls.
The first left-arm wrist spinner to achieve the feat was England's Johnny Wardle. He did it in 28 Tests. South Africa's Paul Adams played 45 Tests and bagged four five-wicket hauls.
Kuldeep’s scalps in Delhi Test
Kuldeep’s first victim of the innings was Alick Athanaze on Day 2. Athanaze missed his fifty as he got caught trying to slog-sweep. On Day 3, he opened the bowling alongside Jasprit Bumrah. He broke the partnership with Shai Hope's wicket. His flighted googly missed Hope's bat and crashed into the off-stump. Tevin Imlach and Justin Greaves got out lbw in the first session.
