He expresses big desire for Border-Gavaskar Trophy.

Star Australian batter Marnus Labuschagne made a joke about wanting to bowl Virat Kohli a bouncer during the forthcoming Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Labuschagne stated that he would be eager to turn his arm over throughout the series. Labuschagne is going to be a key member of the Australian batting lineup throughout the five-match affair.

Marnus stated that he would be thrilled to bowl fast-medium against Virat Kohli in an interview with Channel 7. Known as a highly-skilled puller, Kohli was absent for most of India's previous tour to Australia. During that series, Marnus's talks with Indian players became viral. He often inquired about how Virat Kohli was in person from the guys. The batter, who is known to be close to Steve Smith, will attempt to follow in Smith and Kohli's footsteps and deliver a solid performance in the BGT 2024–25.

When asked if the country would like to watch him bowl, Marnus replied that he could bowl up to the speed of 135 kmph. This even left the interviewers stunned.

"I think so. Yeah, I think so. Because they sink energy. You know what are we going to get here? You know? Are you going to get the number three of Australia rolling in, bowling bouncers to VIrat Kohli? People want to see that. You want to see, can you pass on his ego like, 'are you going to be ducking bouncers from Marnus?'" Marnus Labuschagne said in an interview.

"I mean, if there's rough. Not if its not there. I mean, but I'm happy to throw in whatever. Yeah, whatever needs, but you'd love to hit a little 135 bouncer. I've got that in me, I reckon. My highest recorded is 132. So 3ks. They (the Australian team) will hate I said that hate that. They all hate that," he further added.

India's upcoming Test series against Australia begins in November and will last for around two-and-a-half months. During that period, they will play several tour games in addition to five Test matches. This will also be India's final assignment for the World Test Championship 2025 cycle.
