Retained mostly of their main players, the San Francisco Unicorns also included the explosive Finn Allen and Jake Fraser-McGurk.

Shares of Hexaware Technologies climbed 3% to Rs 828 after the IT services company announced a strategic partnership with Major League Cricket (MLC) team, the San Francisco Unicorns. This collaboration, set to run through the 2026 season, will see Hexaware’s branding featured on the team’s helmets and caps, as well as on perimeter signage during matches.

 Strengthening Digital Innovation in Sports
The partnership aligns with Hexaware’s commitment to community engagement and advancing digital solutions in sports. The San Francisco Unicorns, finalists in the 2024 MLC Championship, are gearing up for their third season in 2025. Their upcoming matches will take place in key locations across the Bay Area, Texas, and North Carolina, bringing cricket closer to American audiences.

 Leadership Perspectives on the Collaboration
Anand Rajaraman, co-owner of the San Francisco Unicorns, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating:

“Hexaware Technologies' dedication to innovation and excellence matches our vision for the future of cricket. This collaboration will not only boost the team’s capabilities but also enhance engagement with fans and communities worldwide.”

 

 

Echoing similar sentiments, R Srikrishna, CEO and Executive Director of Hexaware, emphasized the company’s mission to leverage technology for exceptional experiences. “Partnering with the Unicorns is a step forward in bringing innovation to cricket while fostering deeper connections with fans,” he remarked.

 

 

 Hexaware Technologies’ Market Performance
Hexaware Technologies recently made its debut on the stock exchanges on February 19, following a well-received initial public offering (IPO). While the stock’s listing was relatively subdued, the IPO garnered significant investor interest, securing a 2.66 times subscription.

The Rs 8,750-crore IPO, held from February 12-14, was priced within a band of Rs 674 - 708 per share. A total of Rs 2,598 crore was raised from anchor investors, underscoring strong market confidence in the company.

Retained mostly of their main players, the San Francisco Unicorns also included the explosive Finn Allen and Jake Fraser-McGurk as their opening pair. Pat Cummins, Matt Henry, and Josh Inglis, among others, have been let go, however.
