Pakistan lost the first Test match against England.

Pakistan vs England second Test match will start from October 15.

England legend Kevin Pietersen opened up on Pakistan's first Test loss at Multan Cricket Stadium in Multan. After England's dominating win in Pakistan, Pietersen recalled his playing days when he used to play in the Pakistan Super League (PSL). He said that Pakistan's players don't train properly and they involve too much emotion in cricket.

Pakistan cricket team are currently on their lowest since the 2022 T20 World Cup final. They faced their biggest defeat in the T20 World Cup 2024 where a non-Test playing nation USA defeated them in the opener clash of the marquee event. They recently lost a first-ever Test series against Bangladesh.

Masood-led Pakistan became the first team in the history of Test cricket to lose a red-ball match after posting 550-plus score in their first attempt.

However, the legendary batter said that the talent of Pakistan cricket is unreal. Pietersen took his 'X' formerly known as Twitter to share his views on Pakistan cricket.

"From my time playing the PSL, the players don’t train properly and there’s way too much emotion involved in the win or loss. No consistency off the field, so how do you expect it on the field?  And I agree, the talent is UNREAL!" posted Pietersen.

Pakistan cricket team are currently facing a lot of heat from all cricket lovers and former cricketers. Former Pakistan cricketer Kamran Akmal also slammed Shan Masood & Co. after the Multan Test. Akmal labelled them a 'locality team'

"The world must be amazed by the way Pakistan lost. Nobody will believe this. Pakistan side has become a locality team. Even the club team doesn't perform like this. This is the current standard of our team. We win against small teams but can't even get close to big teams. The whole world is laughing at the Pakistan team," Kamran said on his YouTube channel.
