Vaibhav Sooryavansh has grabbed a lot of eyeballs on social media ahead of the upcoming domestic season after sharing a short two-word message on his official Instagram handle. The 15-year-old batter is preparing for the upcoming edition of the Duleep Trophy, where he will take on the additional responsibility of serving as East Zone's vice-captain.
Sooryavashi shared a glimpse of his practice by sharing a video from his latest net session on Instagram. The emerging batter could be seen sharpening different aspects of his batting, from solid defensive to attacking shots, while keeping his message simple with the two-word caption, "Preparation On."
New chapter for Vaibhav Sooryavanshi
The upcoming Duleep Trophy will begin a new chapter in Sooryavanshi's rapidly progressing career. Despite being only 15, the youngster has been given the responsibility of East Zone's vice-captaincy, while seasoned wicketkeeper-batter Ishan Kishan will take charge of the side.

East Zone's selector Pravanjan Mullick has opened up on the main reason behind giving the vice-captaincy to Vaibhav, saying it would be a big chance for the teenage batting sensation and would help him to read the game well in the future.
“He hasn’t been made the captain. He has only been made the vice-captain. The captain is Ishan Kishan. Besides, Ishan is a wicketkeeper, so he will be involved throughout the day," said Pravanjan Mullick to Cricbuzz.
“This is a great opportunity for him to take on the responsibility of being vice-captain in the Duleep Trophy. He wants to do well for the country and we believe giving young cricketers responsibility is important," added Pravanjan Mullick.
