Suryakumar Yadav-led Indian cricket team is all set to take on Charith Asalanka's Sri Lanka in the three-match T20I series starting from July 27 (Saturday). All matches of this series will be played at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Pallekele. This series will also mark the beginning of Gautam Gambhir's tenure as the new Indian head coach. Ahead of the big clash, Surya was seen having a hilarious exchange with dynamic batter Rinku Singh on the social media platform Instagram.

The Indian captain in the shortest format of the game, Surykumar Yadav shared a picture of him along with Rinku Singh on his Instagram story. It was a picture of their arrival at the Sri Lanka airport. Surya captioned the picture by writing 'Theek hai bat le lena'. Rinky reshared it on his story and replied to it by writing 'De do bhaiya bat'. This hilarious exchange is now going viral all over the internet at a rapid pace.

Rinku has in the past asked players like Virat Kohli for their bats and the Indian captain was just trying to pull his leg for that. Surya is known for posting hilarious comments and stories for his fellow person, which is a big example of his lively personality that is visible both on and off the field.

 

India are currently the World Champions in the shortest format of the game and they would like to put on the same dominant performance. Now that players like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Ravindra Jadeja have decided to retire from T20 Internationals, it is a great opportunity for others to try and fill their shoes. Even Jasprit Bumrah has been rested for this series considering the tight red-ball schedule ahead.
