Australia A's squad for their four-day and ODI series against India A has been announced. Notably, the Australian team will be touring India for a two-match Test series and three-match ODI series in September later this year. This will be India A's first assignment since their recent tour of England where they participated in a two-match Test series. 

Cricket Australia (CA) announced their official 14-member squads for the India tour on Thursday. Both the sides consist of notable players with Sam Konstas and Nathan McSweeney present in the Test set-up and names like Jake Fraser-McGurk and Tanveer Sangha selected in the ODI squad.

Australia A's squad for four-day series against India A: Xavier Bartlett, Cooper Connolly, Jack Edwards, Aaron Hardie, Campbell Kellaway, Sam Konstas, Nathan McSweeney, Todd Murphy, Fergus O'Neil, Oliver Peake, Josh Philippe, Cory Rocchiccioli, Liam Scott.

Australia A's squad for ODI series against India A: Cooper Connolly, Harry Dixon, Jack Edwards, Sam Elliott, Jake Fraser-McGurk, Aaron Hardie, Mackenzie Harvey, Todd Murphy, Tanveer Sangha, Liam Scott, Lachie Shaw, Tom Straker, Will Sutherland, Callum Vidler.

Australia A will be playing 2 four-day matches against India A which will commence from September 16 and will be held in Lucknow. On the other hand, the three-match ODI series between the two teams will be solely held in Kanpur with the first match to be played on September 30. The assignment will eventually come to a conclusion on October 5. 

India A's squads yet to be announced

The BCCI is yet to announce any of their teams for the much-anticipated series against Australia and it will be intereesting to see which players will be able to make the cut into the team. Abhimanyu Easwaran was seen captaining the India A side in their previous four-day series against the England Lions and it also saw the likes of Karun Nair and Sarfaraz Khan participate.
