Alex Carey falls on the first ball as Shaheen delivers dream start for Pakistan.

Pakistan are currently playing against Australia in the ongoing second One Day International (ODI) on Tuesday, June 2 at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. Pakistan skipper Shaheen Afridi has joined elite club of legends, as he has done something brilliant.

Rare feat for Shaheen Afridi

Winning the toss, Shaheen invited Australia to bat first. As usual, Shaheen opened the bowling for Pakistan and dismissed Australia's star batter Alex Carey on the very first delivery of the game. The Left-handed opener was bowled by Shaheen.

Before Shahee, Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis were the only Pakistan captains to dismiss a batter on the first ball of an ODI game. Wasim dismissed Zimbabwe's Andy Flower on the fist ball of an ODI match in Karachi in 1993, with this he became the first Pakistan captain to achieve the feat.

While, Waqar Younis achieved the feat in 2001 while leading Pakistan in an ODI game against England, where he dismissed Marcus Trescothik on the very first ball of the game at Headingley in Leeds.
