No member of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will attend the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) meeting scheduled to be held in Dhaka, Bangladesh on July 24. There will be no BCCI attendance in the meeting chaired by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and ACC Chairman Mohsin Naqvi due to politicial and diplomatic stand between India and Pakistan.
A top source in the knowledge of the development told India Today that Naqvi is willing to hold the meeting in Dhaka despite several other boards raising their voice against the venue.
"Boards like BCCI, Sri Lanka (Sri Lanka Cricket), Oman (Oman Cricket) and Afghanistan (Afghanistan Cricket Board) have decided to boycott the meeting. If Mohsin Naqvi goes ahead with the meeting in Dhaka, then whatever decision taken will become null and void as per the constitution of ACC," the source said.

The source went on to say that T20 Asia Cup 2025 can happen only if ACC meeting venue is changed from Dhaka to other venue. BCCI official has personally requested ACC/PCB chief for the same but is yet to receive a response.
Sources further confirm that Naqvi is trying to assert unnecessary pressure on India for Asia Cup.
"It is just 5 days from today to go ahead for the meeting but there is no update from ACC about whether there will be a change in the meeting's venue," the source added.
T20 Asia Cup is tentatively scheduled to be held in the month of September.
