Many reports stated that the Indian cricket team was divided into two different camps during India's torrid tour of Australia. Reports also claimed that one of the senior players had projected himself as the Mr Fixit in the team, who could lead the team as an interim captain if Rohit Sharma was going to get sacked. There were also rumours about a rift between Indian captain Rohit Sharma and head coach Gautam Gambhir.

Jaydev Shah praised Jadeja for playing domestic
Jaydev Shah praised Ravindra Jadeja for playing domestic cricket and even gave the example of Sachin Tendulkar who played Ranji even till the end. He added that domestic is the best option for players seeking to get back in form.
"Whether it is a big or small player, domestic cricket is very important. Sachin Tendulkar played Ranji Trophy till the end. Playing domestic cricket is very important for temperament. I feel proud of Ravindra Jadeja. He has been performing consistently for 14 years. The current players should take inspiration from Ravindra. Ravindra has played for his district team Jamnagar even after coming to the international team. When a player has to get back in form, domestic cricket is the best option," he said.
