Virat Kohli's Instagram account has been reactivated.

Virat Kohli is currently spending time with his family.

Former India captain Virat Kohli’s Instagram account was restored just 12 hours after it went offline. Fans first noticed the issue in the early hours of Friday morning, when attempts to visit his handle, @virat.kohli, only led to error messages such as “This page isn’t available” or “The link may be broken.”

However, the account has been back on Instagram. Notably, the 37-year-old batter was India's most followed athlete, and as of Friday, the profile boasted over 274 million followers. The actual reason for that has not been disclosed yet, but it seems like the account was disabled due to some technical glitch. Soon after the account was restored, fans started commenting on Kohli's post and sharing social media posts of rejoicing.

Since making his comeback to competitive cricket in October last year after an unusual four-month break, Kohli has been in brilliant form in ODIs.
