India wicketkeeper batter Ishan Kishan indirectly mocked Pakistan premier speedster Shaheen Shah Afridi after the Men in Blue registered a dominating 61-run win at R.Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. With this win, India becomes the first team from Group A to seal the Super 8 berth of the mega event.

Ishan mocks Shaheen Afridi

Ishan, who shifted the momentum in India's favour after Abhishek Sharma's early dismissal, said that Shaheen Shah's bowling was not doing much. Notably, Shaheen bowled just two overs, where he conceded 31 runs and managed to pick just one wicket.

"When Shaheen was bowling, I didn't feel like the ball was doing much for the pacers, but how Bumrah and Hardik bowled in those two overs was incredible", said Ishan Kishan in the post-match presentation.
