India pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah is currently in New Delhi for the team's T20 World Cup 2026 clash against Namibia, which will take place on February 12 at Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi. The legendary speedster was recently seen bowling in nets on the match eve ahead of the team's second group stage tie, where one of his yorkers stuck on Ishan Kishan's feet.
Ahead of India's T20 World Cup clash against Namibia, the Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Punjab Kings (PBKS) took their 'X' to share a clip where a young fan said in Punjabi, Mein twade wangu banna chaunda" (I want to be like you), where the legendary speedster responded, "Mere to vadia bani (try to become better than me)."
Jasprit Bumrah missed India's T20 World Cup opener
Bumrah missed the T20 World Cup 2026 opener clash against the USA due to illness as the Men in Blue featured with Mohammed Siraj and registered a 29-run win.

Will Bumrah feature against Namibia?
India young batting all-rounder Tilak Varma confirmed that Bumrah is "absolutely fine now" and could be back for the Namibia clash.

"He is absolutely fine now. He is doing better. As I said, we still have one more day, so hopefully he will be back in the team. If he continues to improve, the team management will take a call, and I think he could be back for the second game," Tilak told media.
