Suryakumar, who was awarded Player of the Match, jockingly stated that the left-arm speedster has earned his spot to bat at number eight.

Arshdeep stitched a 22-run stand in 14 balls alongside Suryakumar Yadav that helped India regain the momentum after the flop show by the top batting order. Arshdeep came to bat in the 17th over and got off to a good start with a boundary off Harmeet Singh's bowling. After that, Suryakumar Yadav slammed two boundaries and a six in the next two overs to guide his side to a competitive total.
