Australian opener Usman Khawaja revived his team's batting with an exceptional 141 runs off 321 balls, but it was a moment of fielding brilliance that got his wicket on Day 3 of the first Test of the Ashes at the Edgbaston Stadium on Sunday, June 18.

Ollie Robinson was the one who got the all-important dismissal of Khawaja, but it was the unorthodox placement of the fielders that might have worked in favour of the host country.

Khawaja was batting on 141 runs when he lost his wicket in the 113th over of the innings. England captain Ben Stokes deployed six players in front of him from short cover to short leg. This forced Khawaja to get out, as six England players kept him surrounded from the front.

With this field, Robinson bowled the perfect length, which targeted the off-stump as Khawaja left the wicket while attempting to play a shot towards third man. He could not find the right connection and got caught in England's trap as he was clean-bowled.

Australia seven runs behind England
This field setting of England captain Ben Stokes is now going viral on social media. Khawaja's innings included 14 fours and three sixes but his wicket was their seventh of the innings. Eventually, their batting capitulated as they were bowled out for 386 runs, trailing the hosts by seven runs.

Stuart Broad and Robinson took three wickets each for England, who are chasing their first victory in the Ashes since 2015.

Khawaja was Australia's saviour on Day 2 after the World Test Champions lost all the top batters and were reeling at 220/5. He notched his 15th Test century. But they lost all five wickets during the first session of Day 3, starting with Alex Carey, who was the perfect anchor for Khawaja and scored 66 off 99 balls with a partnership of 118 runs in 192 balls.

Soon after skipper Pat Cummins scored 38 but was the last batter to fall as both lower-order batters Nathan Lyon, Josh Hazlewood and Scott Boland managed to score 1, 1 and 0 respectively.
