Campbell's remarks on the century

After the conclusion of the day's play, Campbell explained that he can't really describe the feeling of scoring his first Test hundred that too against a formidable opponent like India. He further pointed out that the pitch in Delhi was good for batters and he felt at ease during his time at the crease.

“I can’t really put it into words right now. Maybe tomorrow I’ll be able to describe it. We always spoke about it being a good batting track. As a batsman, once you get a start here, it becomes easier. I think I still went for my shots, it was just about being more selective. My shot selection was a lot clearer in this innings. I’ve always enjoyed playing the sweep. Thankfully, it worked well for me,” Campbell said after the end of Day 4.

India on the verge of series triumph

Meanwhile, despite the valiant efforts of their batting order, West Indies stand on the cusp of defeat ahead of the fifth day of the second Test against India. The visitors had set up a target of 121 and even though the hosts lost Yashasvi Jaiswal early, the duo of KL Rahul and Sai Sudharsan formed a robust 54-run stand, ensuring that they do not lose any more wickets during the day. India currently stand on 63/1, needing just 58 runs more to win the game on Day 5 and whitewash the two-match series.
