India's left-arm chinaman bowler Kuldeep Yadav claimed a five-wicket haul as West Indies were bowled out for 248 from 81.3 overs on Day 3 of the second Test at Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi. West Indies lost six wickets for 73 runs as they could not escape follow-on in the second consecutive Test of the series. 

Kuldeep spins a web in first session

Starting at an overnight score of 140/4, Tevin Imlach looked to score boundaries early on. Kuldeep and Bumrah opened the bowling. Kuldeep broke the fifth-wicket partnership with Shai Hope's wicket. He wanted to block it but the ball turned the other way but got bowled. He scored 36 runs from 57 deliveries. In his next over, he got the wicket of Imlach as well. The Caribbean batter removed after getting hit on the pad while on back foot but the decision wasn't overturned. Imlach departed for a 67-ball 21. Kuldeep continued to dominate and dismissed Justin Greaves as well. He hit three fours in his 20-ball 17.

Siraj strikes, some resistance from lower order

In the 57th over of West Indies' innings, Mohammed Siraj became the first pacer to take a wicket in the second Test. Jomel Warrican's middle stump was knocked over by Siraj. Khary Pierre and Anderson Phillip got West Indies' score past 200 in the 64th over and prevented them from getting bowled out in the first session. At lunch break, West Indies were 217/8 in 72 overs.

Bumrah, Kuldeep wrap up first innings, follow-on for visitors again

In the first over of lunch break, Bumrah knocked over Pierre with a perfect length delivery. He scored 23 runs from 46 balls, including three fours.  Phillip continued to frustrate the Indian bowlers. After the new ball was taken, Siraj delivered a maiden over. Kuldeep bowled from the other end and got the wicket of Jayden Seales to wrap up the innings. Seales reviewed but the decision wasn't reversed. Kuldeep completed his fifth fifer in Test cricket as West Indies were bowled out for 248 from 81.5 overs.
