Mohammed Siraj surges to career-best Test rankings with 7 wickets vs West Indies, centurion Mitchell Marsh jumps 13 places to top 10 in T20Is

India's in-form pacer Mohammed Siraj achieved career-best Test rankings after registering seven wickets against West Indies in the first of the two-Test series. Siraj went up three places to take 12th spot. West Indies' pace-bowling spearhead Jayden Seales slipped to 13th spot after taking just one wicket at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. 

There were no changes in the top 10 in ICC Test bowler rankings. Left-arm chinaman bowler Kuldeep Yadav bagged four wickets to jump seven places. He is currently in the 21st spot and can move further up in the rankings as well.

Jaiswal slips, Jadeja and Rahul rise

In the batting department, there were a few changes in top 10. India opener Yashasvi Jaiswal fell out of top five. The southpaw slipped two spots to seventh. Temba Bavuma and Kamindu Mendis went one place up each to take fifth and sixth position respectively.

After a century, Ravindra Jadeja moved up six places to 25th. KL Rahul was rewarded for his century as well. He climbed four spots to take 35th position.

In the all-rounder rankings, Jadeja continues to be at the top. Washington Sundar took one wicket each in both innings. It helped him go up four places to 11th spot.

Marsh’s big jump after century

Australia T20I captain Mitchell Marsh made a huge leap. He gained 13 places to make it to the 10th spot in ICC T20I batter rankings. He scored an unbeaten century in the third and final T20I of the series against New Zealand. Bangladesh's Saif Hassan went up 17 places after unbeaten fifty against Afghanistan. He is now at 18th place. Indian opener Abhishek Sharma continues to be at top with record-breaking 926 rating points.

Rashid takes 2nd spot

While Afghanistan lost the T20I series to Bangladesh, their captain Rashid Khan was impressive with the ball, claiming six wickets. Varun Chakravarthy continues to be at top with 803 rating points. Rashid took the second position with six-place jump. The leg-spinner has 97 points less than Chakravarthy. Outside top 10, Australia's Josh Hazlewood took 13th spot with a 10-place jump. Left-arm chinaman bowler Noor Ahmad went up eight places and is now seated 17th on the rankings.
