The chase was spearheaded by Juairiya Ferdous, who starred with a fluent half-century, rendering a fighting fifty from the Netherlands' Babette de Leede insufficient to prevent a Dutch defeat.

Choosing to bat first, the Netherlands Women got off to a steady start, navigating the powerplay to reach 40/2. As wickets began to tumble around her during the middle overs, Babette de Leede anchored the innings, providing much-needed stability to the Dutch side.

By the 14th over, the Netherlands had reached 92/5, with de Leede continuing to hold the batting effort together. She eventually brought up a patient and responsible half-century off 45 balls, a knock punctuated by five boundaries. Despite her resilient efforts, Bangladesh's bowlers tightened the screws during the death overs, restricting the Netherlands Women to 139/8 from their allotted 20 overs.

In reply, Bangladesh Women launched a formidable response, racing to 47 without loss by the end of the powerplay. Juairiya Ferdous completely dominated the early exchanges, routinely finding the ropes and taking the attack directly to the Dutch bowling unit.
Ferdous brought up an explosive half-century off just 32 deliveries, finishing her impactful 33-ball knock of 50 runs with seven fours and two sixes. Combined with Dilara Akter, her fireworks helped Bangladesh build a rock-solid foundation through a 50-run opening stand.
The chase hit a brief speed bump when Bangladesh lost a quick cluster of wickets, slipping to 101/4. However, Sharmin Akhter and Shorna Akter quickly steadied the ship with an unbeaten 50-run partnership, calmly guiding Bangladesh to 141/4 in 19.1 overs to seal an easy win in the end.
