There are 73 slots that are there to be filled in what will be the first mega auction in the tournament's history. UP Warriorz is the team with the highest purse at INR 14.50 crore with 17 slots.

All eyes will be on marquee players like Deepti Sharma, Alyssa Healy, Meg Lanning, Sophie Devine, Renuka Thakur, Laura Wolvaardt and more.

Fast bowler Shabnim Ismail has successfully returned to Mumbai Indians (MI) franchise. With an asking price of Rs 40 lakh, MI showed preemptive interest by immediately raising their paddle before the auctioneer could even formally announce the player's name. Although Gujarat Giants (GG) showed initial interest, they refrained from placing a bid. The contest intensified when RCB (RCB) entered the fray, but MI raised their paddle once more, successfully securing Ismail once again for a final price of Rs 60 lakh.

India’s World Cup winner Kranti Gaud, has been successfully retained by her former franchise UP Warriorz (UPW), at her base price of Rs 50 lakh. The bidding for the fast bowler began somewhat belatedly, with DC being the sole initial bidder. Following this lone bid, UPW chose to exercise their Right to Match (RTM) option. When the price was subsequently referred back to DC, they opted not to raise the bid, allowing UPW to secure the player for the base amount.

India's wicketkeeper-batter Uma Chetry, who was part of their&nbsp;World Cup campaign recently, unfortunately failed to attract any bids at the auction. The Assam player, who had entered the auction with a base price of ₹50 lakh, went unsold for now, adding another surprise omission to the list of available wicketkeepers.

England's Amy Jones, entering the auction with a base price of ₹50 lakh, also went unsold, even immediately following a strong performance that included a half-century for the Melbourne Stars in the WBBL.

New Zealand's Isabella Gaze, a player known for her ability to hit hard lower down the order, failed to attract any bids despite her relatively low base price of ₹40 lakh.&nbsp;

They decided to set a rpice of INR 60 lakh for the player that was eventually matched by the UP Warriorz.
