WPL 2026 auction Live Updates: Deepti becomes costliest buy, Healy shockingly goes unsold

The Women's Premier League (WPL) 2026 mega auction took  place in New Delhi and saw a total of 137 players go under the hammer. 67 of these players attracted bids from the five franchises while the others ended up going unsold. 

Deepti Sharma was the costliest buy of the day as she returned to the UP Warriorz for a fee of INR 3.2 crore. Amelia Kerr was the second-most expensive player as she was signed by the Mumbai Indians for a fee of INR 3 crore. Experienced India all-rounder Shikha Pandey also proved to be quite an expensive signing as her services were acquired by UP Warriorz for INR 2.4 crore.

On the other hand, the likes of Alyssa Healy, Tazmin Brits, Uma Chetry and Darcie Brown were the notable players who went unsold at the WPL 2026 mega auction.
