Pakistan off-spinner Usman Tariq has been reported for suspect bowling action. The on-field umpires Ahsan Raza and Chris Brown booked him during the Pakistan Super League (PSL) clash between Quetta Gladiators and Lahore Qalandars at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on April 13.
Despite being reported, Tariq is allowed to bowl in the ongoing PSL 2025. However, he may face suspension if reported again. Then, he will have to go to an ICC accredited centre and obtain clearance for his bowling action to bowl in competitive cricket.
Quetta Gladiators' next match is against David Warner's Karachi Kings on April 18. It is yet to be seen whether Tariq will be included in the playing XI or not.
With one win from two games, Quetta Gladiators are placed fourth on the points table.
